Lee Shore Rescue is an animal rescue in western North Carolina. We serve the homeless pet who has been abused, neglected, or otherwise physically and emotionally traumatized. Our skilled and experienced fosters rehabilitate their charges and train them for a successful life as a companion animal.
Why are we called Lee Shore Rescue? Well, in the boating world, a lee shore is any shoreline that you would drift into should your vessel lose power. The animals who come to us have lost all power in this world. They are orphaned, abandoned, severely neglected, sick, abused, and homeless. We exist to help the un-adoptable pet who has the capability to become adoptable. With rehabilitation in a safe, nurturing, medically restorative environment, we help these pets find their forever homes. |
